Based solely on NU’s published data and the information that others have posted in this forum, I would say that with a 3.3 GPA NU would be a reach and probably a high reach for you. Part of this is based on your saying that you have “2 honors courses.” This would appear to indicate that you did not take the most rigorous courseload offered at your school.

If I’m correct, the combination of a low GPA + less rigorous course load could be very problematic.

But … it’s important to realize that all 3.3 GPA’s are not created equally. NU is familiar with most v competitive prep schools. NU should be able to evaluate your GPA in context of what it means at your school.

Add to this, you obviously have an excellent SAT, and IMO your ECs look to be strong. Are you good enough at any sport to compete intercollegically for NU? Is so, this could make a difference.

So, my best advice – talk with your GC or College Advisor. He or she will have a much better basis to evaluate your chances than any of us.

ED – this is my personal opinion. If after you talk to your GC/College advisor, you determine that NU is either a mild reach or possible target AND NU is your #1 choice AND you can afford it – then GO FOR IT. Common wisdom is that it will increase your chances. If you conclude that NU is a far reach for you, then I don’t know that I’d recommend it (though if you weren’t going to apply ED anywhere else instead, I guess there’s no harm to it).

Good luck
