<p>My gpa is 81 but for my senior year in honors. I can get a recomendation from pretty much any teacher since I go to a small school.</p>
<p>Im in the science club, drama club, habitat for humanity, soccer team, freshman field day leader, marist encounter, and a volunteer at a jewish retirement home with 20+hours. Also I have worked in a Law Firm.Please help guys</p>
<p>Hi ballparkfrank–You may have already started to receive acceptances (hopefully no rejections) for the schools you noted above. Of the SUNYs, Stony Brook, New Paltz, and University of Buffalo are super competitive academically. You didn’t mention your SAT or ACT scores. I think an 81 average is pretty low for those. There are two SUNYs in Buffalo: University at Buffalo and Buffalo State. Are you sure you applied to the one you intended? This has often been a mix-up for 'lots of students. My son is a freshman at Buffalo State. He had an 87 average, not great test scores. He would never have been accepted to University of Buffalo. I don’t know much about the 3 privates you listed, though I do know students who attend those schools and their stats range from yours to super achievers. Good luck!
