Chances (& urgent...)

Urgent because I have to hand my high school all the forms they need for all my schools on Monday.

I'm afraid that I have only reaches and safeties, with no matches... I felt like my matches were UVa and Emory, but my parents won't let me apply because they're too far away.

Please give me an honest assessment of what you think my chances look like at each of these schools...

Subjective:
Recs- One is probably excellent, other very good
Essays- For the free topic essay, I wrote about how my love of the American Museum of Natural History in NYC prompted me to take an anthropology course at Brown, and how I not only learned about anthropology within a classroom setting, but also outside of the classroom, from the diversity of my peers... My best friends were from Bangladesh and South Korea.

State: New York

Penn (after ED deferral)
Georgetown
Cornell
Williams
Swarthmore
Tufts
GW
BU

You got deferred ED from Penn with those stats? Weird, cause a friend of mine applied ED with a 1370 and less impressive ECs than yours and will be matriculating...what a crapshoot!
Anyways, you are obviously in at GW, BU, and Tufts.

Williams and Swarthmore are probably slight reaches just because they ignore reason and deny stellar applicants sometimes, but I'd say you're in at one of the two.

You also have a very good shot at Cornell and Georgetown, and who knows about UPenn.

All in all, you are a very strong applicant and you will probably get accepted to a majority of your elite LACs and universities.

Okay, thank you very much.
Yeah, it really is a crapshoot.

Basically, I'm not going to entertain the notion of getting into Penn RD... So I really want either Georgetown or Cornell. I'd be totally content with either of those. I think I'd like the LACs too, so hopefully I will get into one of those.

I'd really love either Cornell or Georgetown, so much, but I don't know my chances at them... Any other insight ?

Did you take the Math IIC subject test?

No I didn't.
