Chances, URM w/ huge grade trend

Im a junior. Black, male, first-gen status. I also reside in VA. I had some issues as a freshman so i'm a bit worried about the application process. So I need some expert advice on my chances.
Freshman Year: 2.75 GPA, 2 Unweighted Honors Courses.
Sophomore Year: 3.57 GPA, 2 Unweighted Honors Courses.
Junior Year(Current): Business/Finance A, Spanish 3 B+, Physics Honors A. AP Macroeconomics B, AP Microeconomics A, AP English Language B+, PreCalculus Honors B+, US VA History A, Elective A
Unweighted GPA:3.75 Weighted GPA:3.875 My school doesn't weight honors.
So my cumulative GPA is going to be low because fo freshman year: 3.3

EC's: National Business Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (Vice President), Science Honor Society, Freshman Basketball (Captain), JV Basketball (Co-Captain), Winter Varsity Track & Field, Spring Varsity Track & Field, DECA, Junior Math Team, Senior Math Team, AAU Basketball, Travel Soccer. Teach Kindergarden Sunday School every week. Volunteer at local library. I wil probably gain more leadership positions as a Senior.
I have excellent recs, from the hardest teachers at my school. My essay will be above average explaining freshman year troubles.

SAT: My SAT's should be around 2000-2100 out of 2400. I haven't taken SAT II's but I plan on taking Math Level 2, and Physics.
I will probably Major in Finance or Economics.
Schools I plan on Applying to: UVA, VTech, James Madison, William & Mary, Boston U, Pittsburgh, Cornell, Boston College, Fordham.
Chances Please!

probably best to have your GC explain.

you are improving and are on the right track. all of your schools except for UVA and Cornell are matches/safeties. UVA and Cornell are your only reaches. you'll need to get pretty good test scores, 1350-1400 M + CR or 30 ACT, have good essays, and recs to make up for your low GPA.

bump please!

bump please!

I think you could get into all your schools, maybe even Cornell.

bump please!

need more opinions please. im scared about my chances

dude you haven't even taken any tests yet.

colleges like to see upward trend in grades. if you or your guidance counselor explain what happened freshman year youll be fine. but like newjack said you need good test scores. if that happens then your fine

can't chance you without test scores.

In my first initial post it states my test scores are around 2000-2100 out of 2400 on the SAT. I haven't taken it yet but im sure my score will be in this range.

Have you taken the PSAT ? If you have, and you got in that 200-210 range you should get National Achievement semi or finalist which will help at many schools. If your that "sure", I hope you took the PSAT in November!
