chances (usc)

i'm a sophomore at a community college in florida and i'm wondering whether or not i have a good chance of getting admitted to usc. for my 3 years in high school, i attended 4 different schools in the philippines. then i spent my senior year in florida. three of the schools didn't have clubs; this is why i don't have a lot of ec's.

hs gpa (3.8 something/4.00; about 4.3/5.0)
college gpa (3.87- a b in physics, the rest of my grades are a's so far)
total # of credits: 48 - 31 (fall/spring last school year). for this sem, i have 5 classes = 17 credits.
ec's: (junior year) lifesaver's club, won an art contest (i was working with a group then), a reporter for the school paper, won a science/math contest (i worked with a team, once again; it was only held within the school)
(college) i just joined ptk. but i don't have the time for ec's since i take 5 classes per semester. i don't work bc i can't. i only help out my mom with the chores, sometimes.
major: engineering
sat: 1080 (510v/570m: that was 2 years ago... i just took the sat again today.)

my ec's aren't fabulous. i know. but do you guys think i still have a chance when it comes to getting into uni. of southern california? what other schools could you guys suggest that i should try applying to?

Your SAT score is low, so if you're entering your Junior year you might get away with not reporting it. USC doesn't require SAT scores for Junior Transfers.

Over all, I think you have a good shot.

Thanks.
Anyway, I just took the sat yesterday just in case they'd only accept <30 of all the credits that I earned.

you have a good gpa, and a story to tell. i think you have a good chance.
