bump! please chance me!

annnybody! please chance me!

Bring your SAT up. Be glad that USC takes your multiple sitting score so 2100 is a pretty good score for 'SC. Your GPA is a bit low. EC's are pretty good. SAT2's shouldn't play that big of a role in your app since they are optional. If you're a minority, that will help a whole lot.

haha, unfortunately im not a minority, but I did get a letter of recommendation from my uncle who is the huge donor (like second highest level of donation) if that helps

well PM alot depends on your SAT. I agree, with the way your stats are, you must hit a 2100 (at least a 2100 composite) and i say you have a good chance if you wrote an essay explaning why ur grades were low. THe only reason i think u have a good shot if u do hit 2100 is legacy is important to USC esp if that legacy is a big contributor.

Average candidate but good shot because of legacy.

thanks for the input guys!

bump again!

Wish i had this kind of legacy ...

I don't have a clue how much it impacts my chances

do you think its really that helpful?

LOL there were 2 posts here saying the only real reason youd have a shot at USC is because of legacy. Legacy at USC is extremely important (SC is extremely well endowed) and those who contribute are seen very highly. The fact you have so much legacy within your family esp those who do contribute will make you an extremely appealing candidate. On top of the fact, if your family contributes so much im assuming you will not need financial aid either which will be a bonus. Granted, , you will need to hit 2100 on ur SATs to make up for ur GPA to say your a "match"
