<p>i wish i could chance you. but my opinion would probably not be educated. i’d guess that you can get in. your grades look pretty good. but my opinion has no credibility since i got into ut engr as a freshman applying during my senior year in high school. </p>

<p>from what i heard, you need only a 3.2 at a community college to get into a less-competitive major at ut. i’d guess that for engr, you’d need a little above that (possibly a 3.4-3.7). so your gpa seems about right to get you in based on my uncorroborated reasoning.</p>

<p>Not very good chances. Most transfer applicants aiming for engineering will have a 3.7+ GPA.</p>

<p>You would have a better chance if you had a 3.5 with A’s in calculus and physics.</p>
