75% probably

I know UT Austin has the top-7% rank auto-admit thing, and, under that policy, UTA is a safety for a Texan kid that ranks top-7% or higher. Under that policy UTA admits about 2/3 of its in-staters as 7% rank or better.

UTA: Match

What is your backup plan if you don’t make it into UTA?

As for a back up plan, I have not been able to come to a conclusion or even brainstorm any good schools for that matter. I have applied to A&M and University of Florida. Perhaps some of you may have better suggestions- Much appreciated!!!

*I might be wrong, but i believe the auto-admit for the class of 2013 is top 8%

I’m going to say match. You’re top 10%, so that’s great. Too bad you’re not auto admit. 80% you’re in. I love the city of Austin!
