<p>I know my UW GPA is exactly the mean, same with my SATs. I was nominated and completed the Emory Scholars app, but I'm certain I won't get that.</p>

<p>You have a solid chance. I don't understand the "5.2" with your weighted GPA, but your unweighted GPA of 3.7 is just under the 50th percentile of the current enrolled freshman class. Your SAT scores are not as competitive as your ACT scores, and for this reason, I would send ONLY your ACT scores and not your SAT scores. (If you have already sent all scores, there's nothing you can do about it now, but if you have not, then certainly your ACT scores look comparatively better.) Your academic rigor is strong.</p>

<p>Regarding Emory Scholars Program, I would not be optimistic of making semi-finalist cut, based on earlier years' candidates.</p>

<p>Yeah, our weight system is different than most. Regular A = 4.0, Honors A = 5.0, AP A = 6.0, our highest GPA ever was like 5.55.</p>
