Hey guys, I wanna know my chances for Wake. I want to take a visit up, but coming from South Florida it would be costly and I don't want to waste money if I prob won't get in.

Also, what's the deal with the interview? Do they contact me or I sign up somewhere or what? Anyone done the Skype one?

I have a 3.68 UW GPA with 11 AP and AICE classes and more honors with a strong upward trend (3.2 Freshman year).

My SAT is a 2080 (670 M, 640 R and 770 W).

My main EC's are club soccer (10 hours a week, 52 weeks a year) where I am the captain. I also have Varsity Soccer for school, was JV soccer captain one year and Varsity Golf.

I coach a youth soccer team and also volunteer in the local youth soccer for kids with special needs league.

For 3 summers, I spent 160 hours each summer volunteering at the local youth summer camp for my city.

I am also an NHS officer, surf club officer and a member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).

I'm an AP Scholor and have received 5 school wide awards for highest achievement in that class along with a local city wide award for placing in a photography contest.

You sign up for the interview yourself. Make sure you do the skype when you have 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to dedicate to it. Last year it was 5 questions and you had 6 minutes to type in your answer. This may seem like a lot of time, but it goes by quickly. I do not like chance threads, but your stats are very competitive for what WFU looks for in a student. The campus is beautiful! Very southern feel to it. You also have the option to go after you hear of your notification.

Alright, thanks. But I’m kind of confused. For the skype interview, you type the questions? I thought you just talk? Or did I misread your post.

The Skype interview is just that, a video interview. There is the option of a written interview which is timed written responses to interview questions that appear on the screen. My older son did that one a couple of years back and that goes very fast. Submit the online interview request form soon if you are going to apply, though, because they stop interviews at some point in January.

^Wow, my bad! It is the written online interview. Yes, the skype interview is just that online video with an admissions representative. Sorry, for that one OP. Too much overload from the holidays I guess.

You still have to set up any of the interviews yourself. Best of luck to you!
