<p>I wish to be an engineering major, but my ACT is pretty high and my SAT is average, yet my GPA still leaves something to be desired. I've taken every higher level math and science class my high school offers, and my schedule consists primarily of AP classes. I'm fairly active in my community, holding VP positions in three different organizations, and I also work eight to sixteen hours per week. (I swear I'm not trying to brag; just give background information.) Even with a sub-par GPA, can the rest of my information balance that out? I spent four nights at WashU recently on invitation, but I don't know if that's such a good sign or not.</p>
