The rec from the upenn director is huge for the ED wharton. Your standardized test scores aren’t too good for schools you are looking at, but, you seem capable enough of getting them up a lot next time you take it. You definitely are smart enough (incredible EC’s - that in itself is enough for any university by itself) and if you get these scores up your probably the best a candidate can get. Also to help you are Argentinian. Never a guarantee for most of the schools your looking at but your chances are good.

ECs are fantastic so you will get in everywhere

^ False information!

OP, obviously you have outstanding ECs which really reflect passion and that will certainly help a lot. However, I would recommend retaking the SAT. Colleges want to have a diverse class with lots of passion while also statistically looking good (GPA, SAT, whatnot). If you raise it to around a 2250, I’d say you have very good chances. Just don’t expect all acceptance letters (I’m certainly not). Colleges are so random these days, it’s difficult to predict acceptance. But good luck! :)

just out of my own curiosity, what did you do for disney

Thank you for your responses everyone. I think I will be able to bump my writing up a good 50 points and maybe get that perfect math score. Wish me luck!

I do affiliate advertising with Disney. I own a network of websites and on them I place advertisements that Disney and I privately negotiate and design.

By the way, I saw that you go to vassar. I live down the street from vassar. Small world right?

Whats your website called?

I have quite a few actually. Around 25. The traffic for each is different and I really don’t have a main website. I have about 10 that each get over 100k visits a month.

Entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of information usually tackled by people 10+ years older than you will be quite the interesting dimension to your application. I’ve worked in that field as well and I think you’ll be quite the Quaker.

Thank you for your support! I see you attend northwestern, an excellent school! Are you majoring in a business related subject by any chance? Any suggestions to improve my chances?

I don’t particularly believe in majoring in “business” unless it comes with a numbers background. I’m in Econ/Stat.

I would set aside plenty of time for introspection this summer. Yes, you have achieved a lot, but I’d suggest developing a story to tell about yourself, why you chose the paths you chose, what that demonstrates about yourself, and what that means for the future. More importantly, consider how each school will contribute to the continuation of your success as a person and how you will contribute to both the school and the community at large.

Oh nice. I will be doing finance with a minor in economics. I think my theme is going to be stressing the value of education and how I worked to earn my college fund. In that I will detail all my accomplishments and such. Thank you for your response. Any other comments or chances?
