ED and you’re in, I’d say.

Seriously? I’m shocked

^^^^ lol. ^^^^^^

your business experience sounds awesome…but Wharton is a really tough academic environment and it’s geared toward sending kids to high finance and consulting. since your junior year GPA is around a B+ you may not be a good fit for Wharton. you might get in, but you probably won’t be satisfied.

GPA is actually 4.042 not 4.014. Not that it even makes a difference haha just noticed the mistake.

And thanks for the help. No worries Woodrow thanks for the compliments haha. Finance really is my main interest though but I understand what you’re saying. I’ll still just shoot them an app and see what happens.

On the academic side you aren’t as strong as what the typical applicant will be like, but on the EC side you definitely beat most applicants. Props to you for all the stuff you do outside of school. I would say if you do ED then you probably have a pretty decent chance, definitely apply though, no reason not to.

Even with ED I wouldn’t be overly optimistic. Your ECs are outstanding of course, but the core of any application has to be the academics and frankly your grades are pretty poor compared to most Wharton applicants. And with only 5 AP courses (with 2 of them being easy- macro and psych) the courseload itself is quite simple. I dunno, you could try ED but it’s kind of risky.

He does have a ton of honors classes though. I’d say you have a good shot if you really present your business situation in a unique way. I’m in a similar position as you with a bit higher scores and stuff. Chance me back.

I can’t comment on your chances, but I will say at a place especially like Wharton, you * need * to be able excel in academics. Is there a reason why you got a 28 in Math/Sci on your ACT? The 28 in math will raise some eyebrows, in the very least. Are you not good with test taking? Also, the downward trend in grades will hurt you, as well as the class rank outside the top 10%. Good luck, though!

honors classes are pretty similar to CP classes… at least in my school.
