Chances? Where to apply?

Hi I'm a rising senior- I need to know schools that will be a good fit for me!

GPA: 99.1
Class Rank: 1/64
Small, rural school in western NY
Desired Major: Pre-med

ACT: 34 (35 English, 33 Reading, 33 Math, 36 science)
SAT: Predicted 800 Math, 720 CR, 740 writing (PSAT)
SAT II: 780 Biology, 790 math 2, 710 physics
AP: 5 Biology (taking psych, us history, literature, and physics b this year- should be 4s and 5s)

EC: NHS, Student Council (9-11, class representative), jazz band, chorus (president), band (public relations), FIRST robotics (helped found the team, won regionals rookie year), Tri-M music honor society (secretary), Youth to Youth (community service), drama club, cross country, working as piano accompanist at church and weddings and teaching guitar lessons

Last Summer: medical sciences program at RIT
This summer: Boys State NY, hopefully a program at carnegie Mellon or local laboratory/hospital

Recommendations: one great one from chemistry teacher, another pretty good one from biology, and an amazing one from choir director

Essays: I'm a pretty awesome writer (ignore the atrocious grammar and terrible word choice for this post)- have a good essay about helping create robotics team and another about being in the plays/musicals every year, working on more

I've been taking classes online outside of school for a challenge (psychology, ethics; ap calc bc and ap envir science next year)

Will be sending in a piano audition to any schools that will accept it!

Where do you think I should be applying in the fall? My dream schools are MIT, Princeton, or Johns Hopkins- chances for those?

Thanks!

Bump 10char

BUMPBUMP. anybody???

Wow! EXTREMELY impressive GPA! I would try applying to Harvard Med.

Just wondering how anyone could possible average 99.1? This must mean you got a 100 on almost every test you ever took!

Oh, really? Wow okay! :)

Really great ECs! Also very good scores (as predicted). Keep up your GPA and definitely take difficult classes. Your summer activities look really impressive so you should play that up when you apply. I think you have a fair shot at John Hopkins. Princeton and MIT are hard to tell, but you stand just as good of a shot as anyone if you continue this trend :)

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1303604-early-decision-chances.html#post14144531

You can never tell about Princeton and MIT, but your stats are definitely good enough to have a shot. Good luck. :)

Where else to apply???

Anybody else?? I was accepted into the UC Davis Young Scholars Program so I’ll be doing research this summer!

You definitely show a passion for the sciences in your E.C’s. I’d say you have a decent chance at JHU, but otherwise I would research pre-med programs and decide where to apply on that basis. Have you checked out Wash U. St. Louis?

If your essay doesn’t flop and your recommendations are as good as you say they are, then you have a pretty decent shot.

What about:
Northwestern
Washington U St Louis
Columbia
Duke
UPenn

???

^ I’d recommend WashU too. I’ve got family that goes there and It’s an awesome place full of laid back people. You’re right in their range.

Chance me back?
