Large public high school...
UW GPA: 3.8
Weighted GPA: 4.4
Rank 45/792. My class is so freaking large!

ACT SCORE: Composite = 32
Reading=35
Math=32
English=33
Science=26 :( haha
Writing=8/12

^^^First time. I'm retaking it in April probably. Actually, no, for sure, because our state requires it haha. Hopefully I'll be able to boost the science and writing scores, the other ones should be pretty much the same.

SATIIs: Taking Biology at the end of this year, expected above 700 since I am currently doing very well in my AP biology class...probably taking math as well, which I think I should be able to do fairly well on.

ECs:
-Badminton (9)
-Work at Target (10-15 hours per week)
-Latin Club (9-12)
-Latin Honor Society (11, 12)
-National Honor Society (11, 12, possible leadership position next year)
-Amnesty International (9-12, secretary)
-Key Club (9-12, possible leadership position next year)
-Drama Club (11,12), worked on several theater productions
-Weekly Latin tutor (at least 50 hours total)
-Volunteer at the JFK Health World Museum for Children
-Starting a community book drive this year in conjunction with our school's English Department, should turn out well :) I'm really excited for it!

I'm a fairly good writer, I've always excelled at English/Reading (although my ACT writing score doesn't show it...hmph) - anyways, I think my essays should be really good.

10 APS! For the ones I haven't taken yet, I expect 4's and 5's =) Except maybe a 3 this year in Latin, 'cause its so darn hard! Senior year AP Latin should be a little easier (more AP level experience with the language).

Sophomore Year:

Junior Year:

US Gov't
Latin-Vergil

Senior Year (prospective):

I know it's only the beginning of junior year, but I just want to see where i stand =) Thanks so much.

you shouldn't post here unless u have your final stats. we cant say w/o konwing ur GPA at the end of junior year and final ACT, SAT stats

Sorry =( I saw that other juniors had posted on this board, and I figured it would be alright for me as well. I just want to get a head start so I can figure out which colleges will be worth visiting later this year. Oh well.

Hmmm, way too early I say. I know large public high schools in Illannoy, such as the Glenbrooks or the Hinsdales, send grads to top schools, but that class rank does seem a bit low (though 7%). If you want something to work on, how about that.

Plenty of people post here with incomplete information. Are you in or out of state for Michigan? Definitely visit the U of Chicago.
