Essays:
I honestly am not trying to brag and whatnot, but I truly believe that I can write some very strong essays for my app, this is where I'm hoping to separate myself from the rest of the pack, so to speak.

okay first ill go through with the list:
U Penn (if not wharton) - low reach
U Chicago - low match
JHU - match
Dartmouth (legacy) - low reach
Stanford (doing for Lulz) - reach
Berkeley (assuming OOS) - low reach
NYU Stern (business school?) - high match

here is what confuses me - and you probably need to really articulate on your app what you want to get out of college - I really thought from looking at your broad range of ECs that you were sort of a renaissance man interested in politics, sports, music, movies, charity, nonprofits etc…so I was surprised to see no LACS (exception dartmouth). Of course you will tailor your application to whatever school you are applying to, for example talk about your experiences with a non profit when applying to NYU. Overall, strong candidate, a little confusing so you may want to clarify some things on the app, tie your passions together. I am hesitant to use passion - but find the commonalities between your desperate interests, what drew you to each one, what you have learned, and why you have continued. Anyway, just my $.02

You look qualified for all of your schools! I would say you have a good chance at all except perhaps Stanford … Another thing to consider is your essays and letters! Be sure they show personality! Good luck!

If you are asking about UC Berkeley, or any UC for the matter, if your a california resident, DON’T WORRY your test scores and GPA are both Great!! Stanford is a reach for anybody (7% acceptance rate!) so don’t be discouraged. For the privates, your GPA is good, your SAT score is Great, the only thing thats lacking is EC’s but not by too much. IF your recs and essays are stellar, then you are good to go (my honest opinion)
U Penn- high Match/ low reach
U Chicago- Match
JHU- Match
Dartmouth- low reach
Stanford - Reach (for everyone)
Berkeley (school of music or UC) -Match if in state if not, im not sure
NYU stern- low reach

I think you have pretty good chances at Uchicago, JHU Upenn, Stern and Berkeley. All of the others are high match/low reach with the exception of Stanford (reach).
