<p>Class of 2016 at a public high school in Maryland with around 900 kids. Looking into schools like Penn State, UVM, UNH, Ithaca, Syracuse, Clemson</p>

Student Government Officer my freshman, sophomore, and junior year
4 years all varsity soccer
4 years all varsity soccer
4 years managing wrestling (varsity)
PAWs student officer
JSU student officer
Senior cashier at local food joint
(somehow i have like 200 student hours but idk how)</p>

<p>AP Tests Taken:
AP World History: 3
Planning on taking the SAT in April, but on my PSAT i got like a 1700.</p>

<p>Sophomore Year:
Spanish 4 (Which is an honors level course even though it was 10x harder than any of my aps)
Hon Geometry
GT English
AP World

GT International Relations</p>

<p>Junior Year:

If you can break a 1900 on the sat you should be all set. Take practice tests as much as possible! On my sophomore year psat I got a 1760. On my sat I have a 2140. It’s possible to increase a lot, just study hard.

<p>You seem to have a good shot at all of them! Penn State and Syracuse are maybe low reaches… Try to get above 1850 to improve your chances!</p>

<p>Hey! Thanks for chancing me earlier.
The biggest thing you can do is put a lot of effort into the SAT. Assuming you score around 1850> (150 point increase), you have a very good shot at all these schools</p>

<p>I think all these schools are within reach, depending upon SAT scores. Maybe take the ACT? I did much better on it, compared to the SAT</p>

<p>This might sound really dumb but what’s the difference between High-Low Match, & high-low reach?</p>

<p>I think that you have a great shot at all of them, especially UNH and Clemson. Try to improve your scores for Syracuse and Penn state and you’re set to go :slight_smile: thanks by the way for your comment on my thread :)</p>

<p>Syracuse and Penn State are low reaches if you’re SATs stay near 1700. All others look like matches. Good luck!!!</p>

<p>You should be good with everything but Penn State. Try and increase your SAT to above a 2000, and provided you have a good EC list, you will have a decent shot. </p>
