On the SATs I got a 2050: 640 math/690 critical reading/720 writing...plan to take US History and 1 other subject test.

But my GPA is pretty weak. Freshman year I had like a 3.1 (with 3 honors courses), sophomore year like a 3.25 (with 3 honors courses). My school does not weight honors/pre-ib courses.

Junior year was better: GPA 3.71 weighted, 3.5 unweighted (3 IB courses, 1 honors)

School does not rank, but I'm probably top 20% or so in a graduating class of ~600.

This may be superfluous, but my school is on a 94+=A, 90-94=B+, 84-90=B,... scale. I have received several B+s that would be A's in other school districts and I do not know whether that is taken into account. Although honors/pre-ib classes are not weighted, my school adds .5 to every IB/AP course.

I have average ECs, middle class white kid from Northern Virginia.

Wondering what my chances are for:

University of South Carolina (Columbia)
University of Virginia (I know it's a reach)
University of Colorado (Boulder)
University of Maryland (College Park)
Virginia Tech

I am hoping to study business of some sort at a large university. If you have any other suggestions for me please post them. Public/private does not really matter to me and I would prefer schools east of the Mississippi.

As it stands now, I know most of those are probably reaches, but assume I get a 3.8 unweighted GPA first semester next year and a 2150 on the SAT, how do you think my chances would change.

Thanks for the help.
