What would my chances be for these schools? I'm applying early action to Stanford and regular everywhere else.

danggg…check you out! haha you should get into all of them!

bump 10char

I would call it a coin flip at SPM, 75% chance at RC and UM. ECs don’t show depth/focus/passion.

I agree with the previous poster, your ec’s definately have a significant quantity, but they seem to lack the quality factor…

Test scores are excellent.

Grades are just ok for Stanford, MIT, and Princeton, but fine for the rest of the schools.

ECs are probably below average for the very elite schools. Being from Puerto Rico may provide a small geography bump.

I’d say 30-40% for Princeton, Stanford, MIT. Pretty solid for Cornell and the rest.

Academics=good stuff.
EC’s=kinda weak.

They MIGHT let you because you’re smart, but you pretty much just seem to study all day and not actually explore whatever interests you possess. Like, do you tutor young’uns in math or science or participate in lab research? Well, of course not, or else you would have mentioned it.

You’re maybe more of a lone wolf kinda kid (my dad, an engineer, wasn’t in any clubs, got into UPenn, which totally has NOTHING to do with the fact his dad was a professor). Most colleges don’t wish to have a walking textbook at their school, people who contribute nothing to the college enviroment. I’m not really sure how you’ll fare.

But, of course: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1015952-ch-nc3-m3-ll-chance-y0u-b-ck.html</a></p>

what an arrogant punk. I’m sick of these 36/2400 people on here asking whether they’ll get into XYZ university. You guys should ignore this. It’s pretty obvious he’s doing this just to boost his ego.

Really, FutureVp? You have no way to prove that, and you say that on a ton of threads. Are you jealous or something? Stop ■■■■■■■■.

Test scores are NOT the only factor in admissions, and everyone has a right to make a thread if they want. If you dont have anything to contribute to the thread just dont post on them. Your coming off as the punk.

FutureVpFinance just get outta here. You do this to everyone, CC doesn’t need you. I got yo back NCBoy

@FutureVpFinance

maybe you should read the other users’ replies. nobody is a shoe-in at HYPS and the like

stop, you guys are makin me cry…PSYCHE!!! I was just tellin the truth. And dont think I’m intimidated by internet bullies. If you dont like it, dont read it.

BTW, it’s good to know I have a reputation around here :D

Stanford, Princeton, MIT, Cornell, Rice, or Michigan

like people above said, there doesnt seem to be a particular interest expressed in your ec’s. obviously test scores are amazing and grades are good too.
are you sure you arent hispanic ;)?
mit - reach (engineering at its finest)
stanford - reach
princeton - reach/high match (although it may be easier as it is not known for its engineering)
cornell - reach/high match (cornell’s engineering is pretty good)
rice - not familiar with
michigan - ^same

chance back!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1015920-chance-indecisive-kid-shooting-top-tier-schools.html#post1065752723</a></p>

and to the OP, “arrogant punk” was a little strong, now that I think of it. I just see so many of these, most of which are just ego-boosters. But I am in no way jealous of you or any one of those people; I have no need to be jealous of anyone.

You really got me with that psyche…

@youcanttouchthis

that would be nice if i was hispanic

bumpity bump
