chances with low GPA but good test scores

Up until junior year I was going to a local private school and was in the top 2% of my class with a 3.8 GPA, taking the hardest classes they offered. I then went away to prep, had to adjust in junior year and happened to get two really hard teachers, one for english and one for AP biology. While I had honours overall, in those two I received only a C+!!! I got 4s on my AP exams.
I got 31 on my ACT and 2050 on my first write of my SAT.
Do I have any chance of getting into a great LAC with my poor junior year results?

What is your GPA overall between the two High Schools. If your GPA is 3.5+ UW you still have a shot at Liberal Arts College. To be quite honest, your SAT and ACT are good but nothing that will stand out on your application. If you have time you should retake your SAT/ACT. Your haven’t said anything about any ECs, awards, leadership positions, etc., and all these factors matter when applying. LACs like Williams and Swarthmore are a high reach but you still have a decent chance.

my overall GPA from freshman year to end of Junior is about 3.5 unweighted.
I play 3 varsity sports, volunteer and groups plus dorm prefect and admission prefect. I am confident I will get good recs…
This year I am taking a fewmore APs and calc.
