Chances with new stats

i've posted this before but i just got new test scores.
i would appreciate any help. my school sent one person to yale last year, other than that, it's mainly ou, osu, and lower echelon private schools. I'm just a junior, but i figure it doesn't hurt to plan ahead. some ecs will be projected to extend to my senior year.

I have gone out of my way to take the hardest schedule offered, and have other high school level classes i took in 7th and 8th grade to boost my gpa later. I am almost in the top five percent of my class.

I played football last year and would have this year but time did not permit. I ran cross country in ninth grade and have run track since ninth grade. I have not lettered yet but probably will this year in track. My lack of letters comes from the fact that I go to a 6A school that is pretty competitive athletically. I am active in my church and help out during the service every week. I have gone on mission trips with my church to alabama, florida, and mexico. I have been in all the honor societies for as long as possible. I will probably be at least a merit semifinalist. I was on student council in 9th grade. I have a job at a local radio station and could get a glowing rec from my boss. My AP calc and physics are taken through a regional center of the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. According to the director of the Oklahoma School of Science and Math, colleges recognize this on application as a tough, college preperatory curriculum. I have done various other things during summers that can augment my application in a pinch. I plan on trying to be a page in dc over this summer. I have a whole year ahead to add to my ecs and academic resume, so if there are any suggestions for good things to do both extra curricular and schedule wise i would appreciate them. i've also never prepped (no books, no practice tests, nothing but going and taking the tests) for any of the standardized tests. i'm not sure how much that would change things, and would appreciate any insight about that. here's my school list, in no particular order:

Swarthmore
Stanford
UPenn
UChicago
Northwestern
Rice
WUSTL
Emory
Washington and Lee
Brown
Carleton
Columbia
Georgetown
Dartmouth
Middlebury
Amherst
Williams

thanks

edit: i also did the whole contest speech thing in ninth grade, and i'm a member of the national forensic league.

edit again: my recs will be AWESOME. i have a teacher and a counselor that think i am the world's greatest. i can also write some pretty darn good essays.

edit again: my uncle has an MBA from UChicago.

bump 10 characters

i refuse to let this die until i get at least one legit response.

hmmm..i would say you have a decent shot at most of these colleges..your math+verbal= 1430 so thats really good...decent SAT2's GPA is good..4.0 Weighed might look bad but since your school has a weird GPA system then im guessing 4.0 is really good...you should work on your ec's..and decent essays and rec's should work in your favor..

Swarthmore- reach
Stanford- high reach
UPenn- reach
UChicago- reach (uncle as an alumni doesnt really help)
Northwestern- reach
Rice- high reach
WUSTL
Emory
Washington and Lee
Brown- high reach
Carleton
Columbia- high reach
Georgetown- low reach
Dartmouth- high reach
Middlebury
Amherst
Williams

ahh..and the 33 ACT should help alot...GOODLUCK!

"Enriched Biology-B (teacher did not like me, but i recieved higest grade on end of instruction, but can colleges see that?)"

Ah. no. unless of course the matter comes up in an interview. dont you hate admissions? I think the reason they dont give you a reason to defend yourself is because people who ACTUALLY suck can fake having a bad teacher. yeah.

So: Of the schools i know about:
Swarthmore- low reach
Stanford- high reach
UPenn- reach
UChicago- reach
Northwestern- low reach
Rice- high reach
Brown- reach
Columbia- high reach
Georgetown- low reach
Dartmouth- reach
I think i can safely say most of your other choices are matches. You should have a shot a Georgetown.

I would move UChicago to low reach/high match.

I really think that you should look into having some safe schools added to your list. All the schools on your list are reaches all are difficult to get into. You need to expand your list to include other schools. Sriharifez is really wrong most of your schools are reaches/high reaches and not matches

i do have safeties, but i know my chances at those, so i didn't put them on here. ;) thanks a ton for the responses. keep 'em comin.

I agree with sriharifez, except I think Amherst and Williams are both reaches. You're applying to a lot of schools, so I'm sure you'll get into some of the reaches; it's just hard to say which ones. Good luck!

thanks again. i'm not really planning on applying to all of these, these are just the ones i'm looking at the hardest.

no one else?

one last bump
