<p>Hi all! I'm a new member here at CC, but I've been reading long enough to see that many here are very...ambitious. Anyway, what are my chances for some Ivies, particularly Columbia, and schools like NYU if I have several publications in scientific journals [in mathematics], I've numerous times presented my results at various fairs [and received some awards], and with stats below:</p>
<p>GPA: hmmm...abt 97 UW [what does that translate to on the 4.0 scale?]
SAT: 2120 [first time]--590 CR score =(
SAT IIs: 790, 760, 740</p>
<p>MATH team since freshman yr, won some medals.
Applying to Intel and Westinghouse with 2 different oreports containing original results.</p>
<p>Should I apply? Or are my scores too low?</p>
