GPA- 3.7 UW
SAT 1- CR 700
W 620
M 490 (The thorn in my flesh)
SAT 2- US History 730
Literature 640
APs- APUSH 4
APES 4 (I go to a small private school that only offers 4 APs. I'm taking the other 2 next year.)
*I've generally taken the most challenging classes that my school offers.

E.C.s- I'm on the national honors society and the academic league. I've organized a recycling program at my school. I've been interning for congressman Bob Filner for the last year. I have gone with my church on several occasions to visit orphanages and build houses in Mexico and Jamaica. I'm heavily involved in the local san diego music scene. I'm a singer-songwriter (I play guitar, steel guitar, accordian, drums, etc.) I've released 3 albums and have been nominated for 3 san diego music awards. I've won awards for my songwriting and have worked together with Taylor guitars to fund music programs in elementary schools, and have performed at political rallies and fund-raisers. Not to play the sympathy card, but both of my parents passed away my freshman year, so I have a compelling story.

teacher recs. should be phenomenal. I'm very close with my teachers.
Essays should be good. Writing is my strength despite what my SAT score indicates.

What are my chances of getting into the following:
St. Johns' College annapolis (first choice)
Lewis and Clark
Macalester College
Rhodes College
Whitman College
UC Berkeley in state (far reach, I know)
Goucher College
Reed College
NYU
St. Olaf College
University of Chicago

My plan is to visit St. Johns, send in my application by the end of Aug. so that I'll find out by the end of Sept (rolling admissions). St. John's doesn't require SATs so if I could just get accepted I wouldn't have to retake my SATs or fill out any more applications. If I get rejected or am really turned off by my overnight I'll have to seriously rethink my game plan. What do you guys think? I know that a response to this would be daunting and I'd really appreciate any imput. Thanks in advance
