hey, got a 1920 composite on the SAT, maths-700, cr-570, writing-650
will take the SAT again and aiming at 2000 atleast

I hope to get into the following colleges: UC Berkely, UIUC, GeorgiaTech, Purdue, UT Austin and U Michigan.

also have decent ec's, very good grades, and hold the head boy position at my school

Do you think i have a good chance at these places with such and SAT score?

i mean you can’t really tell, your scores are not bad, but without a GPA and EC’s you cant make a good judgement. If you had a 4.0 i’d say yea you have a good shot, but not with a 3.0

don’t really know my gpa- i am an international student and take the ‘a’ level cambridge board.
but for my sophomore year, i calculated some sort of gpa from my 10th grade boards and got 3.96 out of 4.0- i don’t really believe it but that is what I got from the official cambridge examinations website.

UC Berkely, UIUC, GeorgiaTech, Purdue, UT Austin and U Michigan

your SAT score doesnt eliminate any of these score for you…it wont get you in but i would freak out if you have a good GPA which it sounds like you do and good ECs you should def. be into purdue, and UIUC…i would say UT austin, U michigan are high matches, and BErckely is a reach

To give you an idea, Georgia Tech’s average international student this year is a 2050 SAT and 3.92 GPA. The acceptance rate was just under 6%.

I agree with aghavani on this

Berkely will be a reach
