Michigan would be a slight reach for you. Had your first semester of your Junior year been as good as the second semester, I'd say Michigan would be a match. And don't waste your time worrying about exact chances because nobody here can give you a real estimate. As for what you can do to improve your chances, ace your senior year. At the worst, you will be deferred, which means your senior year grades will be scrutinized. Straight As next year will go a long way in helping you get in. So focus on your GPA and the rest should take care of itself.

because its good to look at others perspectives, even if u may disagree with the subject. To develop a clear understanding of a subject, u need to embrace opposing ideas

That's a pretty broad generalization in assuming that all Middle Easterners are opposed to others ideas, don't you think?

I'm of Middle Eastern descent myself, so I can't help but question this. Not trying to start an argument or anything, so send me a PM if you choose to reply to this.

Okay WaleedF, calm down. He was saying it's good for him (as an Asian Indian) to look at other people's views (in this case the Middle Easterners). That is why he started a club that was not directly linked to his own heritage (since you asked why he started one if he's not from there).

yes waleedF, zuzusplace is correct. No disrespect, but i just like to know others regions or cultures point of view, that way i can strengthen myself to become a better individual.

However, if you would like to argue i would be more then happen to do so. My IM is the same as my name on CC for AIM. Any topic range

the fact that you improved to straight A's after getting 2 Cs and a B shows a lot of character. That may help you a little bit. Much better to improve than to decline. Also, what is your UM GPA? or is that what thew 3.67 is?
