Chances, worth applying to Northwestern without SAT subjects?

Good shot with a solid GPA/class rank/test scores. You not being asian will help you here since there are many asians with great grades/great test scores but bad ECs. luckily you dont fit that stereo type and i think that should help a tiny bit.

low-mid reach but ED makes it a low reach

I understand your feelings Kathy, I felt the same way when I first came to College Confidential, but my ideas about college admissions were flawed back then because I didn’t realize how difficult it is to get into great schools. When it comes to the top schools, academic stats aren’t everything because so many people applying have great stats. The reason I doubt my admission is because my app is completely centered around my stats; I don’t have anything to set me apart from the average great stats applicant. My EC’s are mediocre and I don’t expect my essay to be much better than average.

I thought I had a decent chance to get admitted to Northwestern before I created this thread and I mostly made it to assure these sentiments as well as to see how much not taking the SAT subjects tests would hurt me.

Also, sorry for the late return chances everyone.
