Thanks for chancing me. as for your friend. Well his SAT scores could be better but his high ECs balance that out. I think he's in everywhere. Emory could be a problem but the legacy will help him. Good luck!

sats might be a little low for georgia tech. probably a good chance a UNC.

NC STATE not UNC, my friend did this thread for me btw lol

I think your ECs and and awards are definitely gonna m,ake you stand out. I'm a ghanaian though. not much of a pro with this stuff. but i guess you definitely have a chance at these

I think you're almost definitely in everywhere, except maybe Emory. But, knowing the people that I know who have gotten in, I think you have a pretty good chance, especially since you're applying ED II with legacy.

I'm pretty sure you're set for everything except Emory, and even Emory should not be too much of a problem. The SAT's are probably average for Emory, but even average for Emory is still very good.

I have enuf stuff they shud over look kinda low scores

emory - low reach

So I did my gpa it came to more of a 3.9 unweighted

You have really strong EC's and classes, decent SATs:
Great chance at all, Emory may be difficult because of the intense admissions competition
Good luck though

i think your definitely going to emory,
your an emory-type student with excellent class rank and as long as u have shown interest,
i dont see issues

^ you are the man

I think your friend should consider himself in in SU and NCSU, nothing is 100% sure though.
He definitely has a great chance.
EC's look nice and SAT scores are not bad as well.

Sick again friend made thread for me

Well, it looks like your friend already got into a couple of the schools, so here are my predictions for the other six:

Emory - Accepted. (The SAT scores are somewhat low compared to some of the other applicants, but they should still be within the mid-50%. Your friend's GPA and E/C should offset the low score anyway... The legacy status will definitely help!)
Georgia Tech - Accepted (I've seen people get in with a lot less)
Case Western - Accepted
Rochester - Likely accepted
NC State - Accepted (Probably a Safety School)
Syracuse - Not too sure about this one; haven't really heard much about this one...

Good luck!

University of Rochester- I'd say a match or safety, pretty good shot at this one.
Syracuse University- Also I would say a match

Case Western University-Not familiar with this college but compared to the test scores of admittance I would say he'd have decent shot.

Bump 10char

You have great ECs that should make up for the somewhat low SATs.
Applying To-
Emory-ED II (legacy) - 80% due to legacy
Georgia Tech - 80%
University of Rochester - 85%
Syracuse University - 85%
University of Pittsburgh-in
Penn St- in
Case Western University - 65%
North Carolina State- 80%

Thanks bump
