<p>Yuppit - your academics are all certainly in the range of those accepted to UR. UR has a very holistic approach to admissions. They want more than just an excellent student. What sets you apart from the crowd of people with numbers just like yours? Your essay will be your opportunity to sell yourself. Think of it as a job interview. While your job application gets you in the door, it is during the interview that you sell yourself to the prospective employer. Your essay is that interview. Here is a blog from the Admissions office that may give you some insight: [Some</a> application tips Richmond Admissions Blog](<a href=“http://admissionsblog.richmond.edu/2009/11/02/some-application-tips/]Some”>http://admissionsblog.richmond.edu/2009/11/02/some-application-tips/)</p>
