<p>ACT and SAT are very low for out of state, even low for in-state. Do you still have VA residence? That would help, but chances are still slim.</p>

<p>hmm, well i do not have in state tuition anymore, I lost it about 6 months ago :confused: do you think that scores are going to hurt me that much?</p>

<p>Are you a legacy? You would be considered with the in-state applicants then for admission purposes. When we met with an Alumni Association Liasion, she told us that 650+ scores on the SAT and SATII and 30 on the ACT were competitive scores for legacies and IS applicants. Dean J has stated any number of times that they read holistically and it is not all about test scores.</p>

<p>no, I’m not legacy. I am first generation college grad though… personally, I fell the only part of my application that is weak would be my test scores. The GPA difference is due to changing schools in my junior year, where both schools had TOTALLY different cirriculum’s…</p>
