I am applying early decision to UPenn engineering. Here are my specs:

Both parents went to undergrad and grad school at Penn. They also donate a small amount of money to the school each year.

SAT: 2250- 800 math 690 verbal 760 writing

SAT II: Math 2c 800 Physics 690 (just retook, may go up)

GPA: 3.56
QPA: 16.4 (weighted GPA out of 20)
Top 10% of class

Below average EC’s (a couple clubs a week + part-time job)

I disagree with the previous poster that your chance is "doubtful," especially as a double legacy applying early. UPenn really wants people committed to the school, and I would put your chances at about 50%. If you have done anything interesting over the summer, that could make up for the EC's to some degree. If you can bring your GPA up over the first semester (to about 3.7 UW), I would expect them to overlook the weak EC's.
