<p>i'm interested in going to cornell and thought about doing ED, but procrastinated and now i'm too far behind to do that. how are my chances RD, applying to CAS</p>

taking 5 ap courses(bio,calc,lit,french,gov) this yr
took 4 during 10-11 (school doesnt offer much)</p>

<p>your EC aren't focused on anything.. its the typical asian EC list, don't worry i'm korean (not trying to be rascist) so i have roughly the same list as yours:
sci bowl, ocean sci bowl, sci olympiad, violin, community service at hospital, red cross, research, piano, math competition yada yada yada..the typical stuff</p>

<p>try to focus your EC list.. to a few things such as:</p>

<p>academic teams
research
music</p>

<p>and expand on them, listing the awards, positions you earned</p>

<p>your academics are great btw, congrats on the sat score!</p>

<p>ya thats wut im really concerned about...the fact that my EC's are lacking :/</p>

<p>write an incredible essay: they could easily not take a person in b/c of their gpa or sat grade but less if it's because of your ec, maybe getting that high gpa allowed little time for ec and it's not like you have zero.
I think you are a safe candidate :)</p>

<p>my essays will probably be average :(</p>

<p>I think you'll get in, your SATs make up for your EC's, which aren't awful</p>
