<p>First of all i'd like to say that my school records are not up to par with most of the people on this forum, but i'd like for someone to tell me if i have a chance at any of the top schools in texas. Any help would be great!!</p>
<p>I'm a "below average asian"...
GPA: 4.02/4.5
Rank: top 15 ~20 % (pretty sure)
Sat: <em>gulp</em> 1360 (core) 2080 with writing</p>
<p>-ive taken all honors courses throughout high school (10 of which are ap), except for 5 classes
- if it matters, my high school performance has had an upward trend, in which my grades have gone up (from a b minus student to straight a's) and my senior year will be the hardest.</p>
<p>EC:
- Commitee coordinator for Science National Honor Society
-Robotics chairman of science national honors society
- student rep for asian culture club (10,11)
- Mentorship at Nasa, i was the student (NBL)500+ hours
- 2 time gold cup for piano competition (7 years total)
- PLaced 4th in national robotics competition (FIRST)
- NEMA english nomination and scholarship semifinalist
- Volunteered at Elemntary school (student mentor) 100+ hrs.
- Junior Classical League (Latin) State examination semifinalist
- JCL club historian 12
- Violin awards in UIL solo ensemble
- Health Occupations for Students Association, 10th grade rep. (only thing we could run for)
- Hospital volunteer 100+ hours
- Work during summers all 3 years
- JV Tennis for two years (9,10)
- Community Oreinted Science and Math Opportunities for Students (teleconferences with major insitutions such as BP, IBM, UTMB,..)
<em>Oh and im going to be a senior in the fall of 05</em> if makes a difference
So that would be the quick review of my stats. I was hoping on getting scholarships from schools as well.</p>

<p>im really hoping to get into ut! but since im not top ten...i dont know what my chances are. Also do i have any chance at any other school that are decent?
