Chances....

4.0 unweighted GPA

AP US History, AP Bio, AP World History, AP Calculus AB, AP Stats, AP Lit, AP Psychology, AP Micro Economics, AP Chemistry (If it's offered...)

31 ACT, but I took it first semester of junior year, hoping to get it up to a 33 or 34

Secretary of Key Club junior year, will be president of Key Club senior year, Japanese Club, FBLA, FCCLA, BETA Club, NHS, wrote an article for the Chattanooga Times Free Press, which is a moderately-sized newspaper, probably will be a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist/commended whatever, volunteered at the aquarium for 70 hours, volunteered at library for 30, alternate for GHP in biology last year, in top 10% of my class

I live in GA with my single mom, my father is recently deceased, our income is extremely low, I'm gay (does that help me?)

With a 31 ACT, maybe. With a 33 or 34, much more likely.
Your transcript is impressive; let’s see how you do you on the AP exams for the courses junior year (I’m assuming you’re a junior?)
Your ECs are okay.
I don’t know whether being gay helps, but I would hope that it made no difference one way or another.

If you write about being gay then it will help you. Also, sorry to hear about your dad =/. But yeah it looks like you got a good shot.
