and after all of my years in high school i will have 500+ community service hours.

thank you!

bump? >.< pleasee?

Considering that I was recently admitted with more or less similar grades and similar ratio of honors to normal classes with a whole ton less extracurriculars and community service that’s nowhere near where you are and got a pretty large scholarship along with it, I’d say that you are in good shape. You’ll probably get in.

(But don’t get lazy senior year: you may still need to send midyear grades.)

oh thank you!! and haha im not. my senior year is actually the most difficult schedule i have ever had! and congrats!!

kaetiiii I recommend you visit and interview in the fall and consider an early action or early decision application to boost your chances.

But apply early decision only at your dream school, the one you want above all others. It’s a long time from November to September, plenty of time to change your mind if you apply ED to a non-dream-school; you could actually find one!

And only ED if your decision is not dependent on your financial aid package.

Dickinson is unusual in that it offers the early action option which is non binding, not many small liberal arts schools do this.

“And only ED if your decision is not dependent on your financial aid package.”

Dickinson disagrees:

[Dickinson College - Early Decision](Early Decision | Dickinson College)

Plus, Dickinson is a Common Application school:

https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/docs/downloadforms/ED_Agreement.pdf

So if the offer is insufficient to support attendance, you say thanks but no thanks, and apply RD elsewhere.
