I'M CONSIDERING RETAKING SAT, AIMING FOR 2250 ON DECEMBER...ANY chances?

Yeah, like I said wustl has a bad habit of wanting to reject people who consider them a safety next to the Ivies and the like. They will see that you applied to all these other prestigious schools, too.

I would visit and get an interview so they know you have interest in the school.

It's really unfair to say so :-s. There is not only ONE school on earth that could match one!! Do your words mean every WUSTL students enroll it under ED?
I'll apply to WUSTL, but just RD. Not because I "look down on" it, just as I have other schools that also fit me :D.

No, but their ED acceptance rate is about double their RD acceptance rate. They also realize whether or not you could afford to do ED for financial reasons, yes. But I've heard of several cases wherin people at my school who got waitlisted by Wash. U. got into HYPS anyway. I've also heard a lot of those cases on these forums, so this is just my $.02.

Keep in mind that this is my first time through the admissions process as well. =)
