Chances?

Hello, i am currently a Junior in high school.

Here is my profile:

I transferred to a different school this year. I currently go to a private school that does not offer any ap or honor classes. It’s a Jewish high school, and its one of the best private schools in my state. I am also currently taking 7 Jewish classes, and i have a 4.00. The grading system at my school is different from my old school. A 4.00 is 100, and 3.9 is 99-98 percent. At my old school anything above a 90 was considered a 4.00. It is harder to get good grades at my school. My school does not offer AP or IB classes.

Grades:

Freshman gpa- 3.7
Tenth Grade gpa- 3.86
I am pretty sure that this year my first semester gpa will be- 3.9

I moved from Israel 3 years ago. I am an Israeli, and I am Jewish.
I speak 3 languages Russian, Hebrew and English, and I am currently studying Spanish.

I am taking the SATS this year and i hoping to get a 2200 or above.
I am taking the SAT II subject tests in Hebrew and World History and I am hoping to do very well on both of them, since I am fluent in Hebrew and history is my favorite subject.

I think that you have an excellent chance. You will bring in political diversity as you worked for the GOP. Your GPA is fine, and a 2100 on the SATs is all that you need.

My only concern is that you did not have consistency in your clubs. Based upon your commitment to the Jewish community, I would advise you to visit, and definitely think about applying ED, as I did. Applying ED will place you in the recently-renovated dorms and give you peace of mind. Brandeis designates about 80 students to enter "mid-year" when housing becomes available. They pick students to enter mid-year based on how easy it seems you can adjust to entering college late. I was scared that I would be a mid-year, so that led me to apply ED.

The reason why i don't have a consistency in my clubs is because i switched schools last year (sophmore year) and for that reason i was unable to continue participating in my olds school clubs. However i forgot to add that just like last year, this year i am also part of the shabbaton committee and part of the spirit club.

Also based on academics. I think, with a 3.9, you should be fine. And think really hard about applying ED ANYWHERE, no matter what the perks may seem. I applied RD and ended up in a fairly large double.

I'm in a large double... in a dorm renovated last year.

I found out that I was in my first-choice school the day after Thanksgiving. For four months during senior year, my friends were all stressing about where they'd go. Don't apply ED somewhere just to apply ED. (I do know kids who did that. "I want to apply ED somewhere, so I'll just apply to School X.) You have to know that you would love to spend four years there, and that you would not be as happier anyplace else.
