<p>I have been homeschooled but I am going back to public school next year. My graduating class is 2013; I know I still have time but i wanna know how I look so far. </p>

<p>GPA (being homeschooled and everything makes the gpa thing a little weird):around 4 weighted and about 3.7 unweighted</p>

<p>Community service: currently about 220 hours.
Starting recently I am helping with an E.S.E class at a local middle school just about every day.
Estimated hours by graduation: about 550 hours</p>

<p>When I go back next year I am joining ROTC and am planning on joining the Rifle team (I have prior experience with marksmanship). I am also hoping to join their athletic team. I missed tryouts this year but I am going to tryout for the Varsity Cheerleading squad (I have tumbling experience) and possibly Tennis. </p>

<p>Before being homeschooled I was a member of NHS and am planning on rejoining next year.</p>

<p>I take all honors classes and have taken 1 AP class but next year I am taking 3 or 4. </p>

<p>I have not taken SAT or ACT yet but I test well and usually score high. </p>

<p>Will this be enough to get in?</p>

<p>I am like dead set on going; USMA is my number one choice school and I am willing to do absolutely anything to get accepted.</p>

<p>Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated....</p>

<p>There are no tips nor easy path into West Point.<br>
The more integrity and expression of firm intent to become an officer in the US Army, the more respect and consideration is given you file. West Point bases admission on SLA - Student Leader Athlete - and it is one of the few schools that heavily weights character and leadership. Reaching Eagle rank in Boy Scouts and being the type of person who has not hesitant in making the Boy Scout sign in later years is an important attiribute - so have that or something you feel is of similar quality.
Community service demonstrated is very important.
Finally, the cut off age is 23 and almost a 1/3 of each class are well over 18 upon entry. That means if you really want to attend and you are of good character you are at the age where you can achieve startog even now so that you will attend. Take over responsibility for gaining entry and stop appealing in this manner in forums. The first step is to decide you want to attend very badly and that is usually the most important accomplishment and requirement to gain entry.</p>
