Michigan is a match for you.

Alexandre,

My ap should be on its way this week. Would you consider this late, very late or......

If you're a nonresident, it's not as late as if you were a resident. Residents tend to apply earlier than nonresidents.

I'm a non-resident UMich applicant. Unfortunately, I sent my SAT scores pretty late (last thursday or friday), so it's going to take at least a month for UMich to receive them. Is this terribly, terribly late? It's still very reasonable that I get accepted, right? Or can I almost expect a certain rejection? Help!

Vovad and KRabble, if you panic about such insignificant details, university is going to be a real nightmare for you...and real life will be intolerable. Relax guys, we are two and a half months away from the application deadline. How can it possibly be too late?! Applying early to Michigan helps (marginal cases in particular), but it does not make or break the applicant.

Thanks for the info Alexandre. Just a stressful time in my life.

What a relief! I was seriously freaking out because I'm not able to really have everything out really early, but my application (excluding official SAT scores) should get there by next week, since they are all being sent this week. So basically, if I was destined to get into UMich but applied late, I will probably be accepted already and vice versa?
