You are definitely accepted if you apply to Clemson and have a shot at the honors college. If you can get your SAT score up to 1370 for Critical Reading and Math (or ACT of 31 overall) and keep your top 10% class ranking, you can qualify to pay in-state tuition.

Thanks for the knowledge  ^

Pierre0913 - how do you have this information? I’ve been trying to get similar info from Clemson, but to no luck! Is it a hard cut off for OOS waiver…31 on ACT?

[Frequently Asked Questions : Clemson University](<a href=“Dynamic Forms Guide - Student Financial Aid | Clemson”>Dynamic Forms Guide - Student Financial Aid | Clemson)
There is the link with the OOS information, and to EFC1878 I believe you have a great chance of getting in. I hope you make the decision to come to Clemson!

Thanks! I missed that somehow. My daughter has a 31 ACT, but because of the ultra-competitive large high school she goes to, top 10% is pretty close to impossible at this point. Since we are having her pay for 1/2 of her schooling, every little bit helps. She already received a provisional acceptance from Clemson which sent her over the moon, so we are hopeful that there is some merit money for her.

yes it is a minimum requirement even for consideration to get the scholarship. I don’t think that they guarantee that they will give you an OOS tuition waiver scholarship if you meet the requirements but depending on the number of people with those stats, it is very likely.
