PLease tell me if you think I have a chance at getting into WashU. It is one of my top colleges.

I think you definitely have a chance. I know WashU especially is looking for more diversity (they have Multicultural weekend in the spring for admitted students), but I would try get your ACT up to a 31 or 32 just to be a bit safer. I wouldn’t say you’re an auto-admit, but it’s definitely worth the chance :).

Thank you sooooo much. I plan on taking it again in September. Do you know how hard the pre-med track is at WashU? I have heard that it is truly brutal.

It all depends on your aptitude for the material. I knew people who would study for weeks before bio exams to barely pull a B, and others who would study the day before and get an A. However, its not cutthroat. Even in bio, which is graded on a curve, there were routinely large study groups in my common room. Good luck in admissions!

^ I agree.

Are you planning on applying ED?

Thanks for the input. LaChicaBuena I do plan on applying early decision and hopefully I can qualify for the Ervin Scholars program. I have a friend in it and she loves it.

You need to raise your ACT score slightly, which I’m sure you know. You may be able to over compensate for that by applying ED.

Yeah I plan on taking it again in september. Im hoping for a 33 but jumping that high seems very unlikely.
