<p>Hey
I'm a junior going into senior year student at a public school in New York. My school isnt very renowned, but it still offers very intense programs. I currently have a 97.893, which converts to a 4.0 GPA. I have recieved a 1970 on my SATI (which im planning to retake), a 750 on SATII Chem, and ive taken SATII for US HIS and Bio but plan to take them over, as well as take SATII for Math</p>

AP Chem - 10th grade - 5
Ap Bio - 11th grade - AP test grade not recieved - Class average 99
Ap US - 11 grade - AP test grade not recieved - Class average 97
AP Eng - 11 grade - Ap grade not recieved - Class average 88</p>

<p>i forgot to add that i was part of the Marching Band Color Guard, and named Most Valuable Rookie. Our band also came in first in state competition</p>

<p>A sub-2000 SAT score won’t be getting you anywhere close to Columbia. I would suggest taking the ACT and see how you fare with that.
Other than that, be sure to cut all the extracurriculars that you weren’t devoted to. It’s generally better to show fewer indicators that display your strength than a laundry list of unimpressive activities.</p>
