chances for Berkeley

I go to a all girls catholic private school.
It's an academically super competitve school, and about 80% or my classmates are competitive.
My school does not offer as many AP courses because it's a small school.
Religion class in mandatory so it prevents us from taking a different course.
I believe they have connections with U of ND, Boston College, Loyola Marymount etc

I have a 3.8 unweighted GPA, 4.06 weighted GPA (if I do the A-G requirement)
2000 SAT
28 ACT (retaking it in september, taking classes over the summer so hopefully I get at least 31 or 32?)
SAT IIs: Math II - 760, Bio-E - 610 (retaking october), Korean - 800

EC:
-Student Council (9th, 11th and 12th couldn't do 10th b/c I trasnferred to a different school)
-Volunteer at a hospital
-TA for Korean School
-VP (first year) President (second year) of Youth Council (church)
-Agape Youth Group Leader
-CSF (3 years if I include the upcoming senior year)
-NHS
-Advisory Committee at my city's teen center
-Volunteer Group at my city's teen center
-Piano (12 years)

Awards:
President's award (100+ hours of community service)

Other:
-I want to major in business/marketing/accounting/finance.
I am aware that some UCs do not have business schools, and for those, I'm thinking of either applying undecided?
-I'm international (came here in 2002)
-I live in CA

I think your application is average right now since you said 80% of your class is competitive.

GPA:
Your GPA is ok, but not having AP classes might be a negative (however, adcom will probably understand this since their records will show that). What is your rank?

EC/Awards:
Your EC is pretty diverse so keep doing what you are doing. Try not adding more stuff your senior year. Just do what you are doing now and you’ll have a strong EC base. Since the application gives an option to list up to 5 awards, having one seem a bit negative (in my opinion, but im not sure how much it’ll affect your chance). Do you recall any other awards? Simple ones will count, it doesn’t need to be 100+ dedicated hours to certain activities. However, I wouldn’t put ones like Perfect Attendance or GPA award (unless you have been receiving it for 2+ years).

Other:
Berkeley does have a Business Administration for undergrads. However, this is a selective/impacted major, thus you need to apply to it your sophomore year when you are here. Try looking up Haas School of Business and you should see what I’m talking about. Being accepted to Berkeley doesn’t mean you can get into Business 100%. For your major you would put Undecided/Pre-Business.

Essay:
Since your application is average right now, I would highly recommend you to focus a lot on your essay. You need to show adcom that you have used your resource to its fullest extent, etc… Check up the prompts now and start brainstorming what you want to write. You need to execute the essay portion very well to make up for other weak areas. Start early and keep working on it!

Good luck!

GPA is fine, but standardized test scores (SAT I/II, ACT, the whole deal) is in general quite low for Berkeley. I disagree with MisterB7K on your extracurricular activities being “pretty diverse”; it seems as if they all revolve around what I assume to be your Korean church, if not miscellaneous interaction with other teenagers. Student Council and NHS are activities traditionally used to “pad” a r
