Should I try and apply for EA or RD?

You’re certainly competitive, and I would say apply EA, but I also recommend that if you’re unsure, email the admissions office. The actual admissions officers will tell you if you should apply EA or RD, which is quite helpful. For you, though, I don’t think that’s necessary. You’re competitive enough that you’d either be accepted or deferred EA, barring something terrible we don’t know about.

Thank you!! Also, I’m not sure if I want to major in engineering or business. Would it benefit me more to put one as opposed to the other on my application?

Nope. All Notre Dame students are admitted to the Department of First Year Studies. For your second year, you pick your school, and you can pick any of them. Then again, others on this board have said that they favor female engineers, but I don’t know about that, [especially since so many people switch majors.](http://www.thingsnotredamestudentslike.com/2010/01/70-switching-from-engineering-to.html)
