Chances???

<p>It was until very recently that Davidson caught my eye. I know that is considered a reach for me, as my stats seem to be lower than their typical student. I wanted to know, do I even have a shot??</p>

<p>Stats;</p>

<p>Asian Indian Male in from Seattle Suburbs (Born in India, but now US citizen). Lived here for 13 years. </p>

<p>GPA; 3.2 uw / 3.6 w
SAT; 740 M/ 650 V</p>

<p>Honors/ AP; 10 honors classes (9-11th grade)/ 3 AP classes (11-12th)
My School only offers 5 AP's between Junior and Senior Year.
(I'm also tri-lingual; English, Spanish, Marathi)</p>

<p>EC's;
-Tennis (JV captain junior year (good team)), Varsity senior year. 4 years total.
-Marching Band (internationally acclaimed, we've won awards in dublin, england, and canada, and just got invited to be in the holiday bowl) 4 years
-Marching Band president and Lt. Drum Major
-Track (1 year)
-Bowling team (yes it's a sport at our school) (1 year)
-ASB elected official (2 years)
-Link Crew (like big brother). 1 year.
- Wind Ensemble (4 years)
- DECA (1 year, only available to seniors)
-Volunteered 100 hours at the Pacific Science Center</p>

-Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth since 5th grade</p>

<p>Your ethnicity and location might help, but it's hard to say how much.</p>

<p>You have great EC's but u're GPA is pretty low, and your verbal score is sub par, try retaking the SAT to raise it. However, you would have to do that soon if you plan on sending the new scores. I think that you have a decent shot though there are several faults in your resume, it is worth applying, if you apply ED 2 you have a better chance statistically of getting in. However, if your class rank is below 10% you probably have a very low chance.</p>

<p>a 650 verbal for someone whos first language is not english is NOT subpar</p>
