Chances??

<p>I'm a Wisconsin resident and I was just wondering what my chances are of getting into UMN. This is by far my number one choice and I applied into CLA in early July. My stats are as follows:</p>

<p>UW GPA: 3.7949- 2 AP's (United States and World History) and honors courses in English and math, 4 years of Spanish.</p>

<p>ACT- 28, 9 on writing</p>

<p>Class Rank- 68/569- Top 12%</p>

<p>EC's- This is what kills me. I was only involved in FBLA and a community baseball league my freshman and sophomore year, however junior year I was a part of FBLA, Sting Cancer, Math Team, and Link Crew. I was inducted into my school's NHS for senior year, hold a year round part time job, and have done 152 hours of community service.</p>

<p>Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!! :)</p>

<p>Fiske lists UMN’s ACT range (25th-75th percentile) as 24-29. Your record sounds strong to me. I think you have a good chance.</p>

<p>mnwisco…Here is a link that shows the stats of admitted students into the various colleges at U of Minn for Fall 2011. Looking at your class rank and ACT score it looks like your stats line up solidly for admission into CLA. Congrats on your academic record so far, and keep up the good work senior year.
