I'm very interested in Carleton; I've visited twice and loved it. My brother is a junior there and my dad went, along with 4 of his 9 siblings. So I suppose in terms of legacy I have that to my advantage.

My grades: uw cum gpa: 3.3 wgpa: 4.1
Freshman GPA (all honors classes): 3.0
Sophomore GPA (some AP some honors): 3.5
Junior GPA (full IB): 3.8 (one b, in math)

So you can see I've improved a lot- my start to high school was okay but since I joined the IB program I've become a good student.

SAT: 1330/1600, 2060/2400
CR:640 WR:750 M:670

5 on AP spanish exam
4 on AP government
5s on IB psych and environmental science (out of 7)

Am taking SAT again, expect to get 700 CR and Math since I've done a lot of prep. (and got 720 and 700 respectively on practice exam recently)

EC:
11 years of swimming year-round, for highschool and club
9 years of tae kwon do along with a black belt in it
5 years of baseball
2 years of track and lacrosse
7 years of guitar playing, with recitals, etc
some community service but not an impressive amount, close to the graduating average.

My brother had about the same GPA as me and got similar SAT scores, although his math was like 550 and reading at 780, so idk what that's good for. But he got in.

I'm applying early decision- do I have a good chance?
