<p>GPA’s really good, but doesn’t seem to match to the ACT score. Where I live, a 5.0 weighted is all As in all AP/college classes… What is the scale for you guys? Regardless, ACT’s within the mid-50%, albeit in the lower half.</p>

<p>But overall, strong stats, and URM, you have a good shot!</p>

<p>At our school a 5.0 is all A’s in AP/Honors courses. I have yet to get a B in high school. Straight A’s</p>

<p>As got2surf mentioned already, your ACT doesn’t really match your GPA - try to improve! The rest looks really good - congrats! I think you’ll have a good chance to get accepted!</p>

<p>One question though (and all you Tech-lovers, please don’t slaughter me for this one):
If you want to do Biochemistry for Pre-Med, why would you go oos? For this, I would rate Tech not any better than UIUC, and there you’d be in-state … Huge $$$-difference …</p>
