My GPA is very very low for NYU. It's only a 3.3, however, I achieved something that almost 100% of people have not. I got a 2400 on my SAT the second time I took the test. The first time I took the test I got 2340. I also got a 780 on the U.S. history subject test. I have not really cared much for the work I received in high school. I have always taken school as if it were a joke. I understand my GPA is low but I hope there is an outside shot of me getting accepted. I have also played a sport and have been a member of numerous clubs as well as being a state finalist for my newspaper articles. What are my chances? Thank you.

You said you got a 1050 CR/M SAT score in this thread, though…

If you actually did get a 2400 on your SAT you have a good chance at every school in NYU except for Stern.

If your SAT is anywhere below a 2100 it’s highly unlikely I would say.

No haha… the 1050 is what I have. I was just posting this for my friend who was over my house at the time since he does not have an account lol.

I got in with a 3.2 GPA and 1860 on the SAT. Write a great essay, show you’re a leader, call the admissions office incessantly, and you should be able to get in. The SAT score really helps, though.
