It may depend upon which program/school you are applying for. I would call BU a "reachy match" as opposed to a true match (due to your GPA). I still believe that you will be accepted though. Your EC's show true dedication. Just remember that it is not a safety for you.

I think you have a pretty good chance at getting in. Remember, Average GPA means average, not minimum. That means there are plenty of people within a standard deviation of 3.6 GPA. While you may be on the low side, your ECs and SAT scores may give you a boost. Make sure you write excellent essays, and if you're still wavering, apply Early Decision II instead of RD.

(refering to sarangxhae) really? i don't think so.. i didn't hear that. anyways if i did get it from one sitting, it would still be a 750+690=1440! :)

parikhs... i think they will take your highest one.

Sarangxhae- You are mistaken. BU, as almost every US college, takes the highest scores from any new SAT test (not from only one sitting). So, you should count your score as whichever is highest in a subject. BU is not counting the writing this year but is looking at it (as an SAT 2 since they used to require the SAT 2 writing before the new test came out. Many schools will not combine old SAT scores(pre writing) with the new one however.
