chances?

<p>Hi, I'm white and I go to a public school in connecticut. I'm middle class financially. I applied ea to yale and got deferred. What do you think are my chances in regular decision?</p>

<p>what’s your GPA unweighted? admissions officers see both grades and take them into account. also, did you take SAT IIs? i’m pretty sure yale requires 2 or 3 (unless you’re going to use your separate ACT scores)</p>

<p>unweighted i have a 3.92, and i did not take the subjects. i submitted the act’s with writing which sufficed</p>

<p>You’re highly accomplished and a realistic applicant to Yale / Ivies.
Your ACT score is however in the middle of the pack for typical Yale admits. Your AP scores are high (three 4s) but probably lower and fewer than for the typical admits on cc. Now that’s if they consider the APs (they probably do) - as part of your overall evaluation.
Finally, no one can be certain even with higher score profile on the ACT / SAT I, IIs. Goodluck</p>

<p>Your ACT score is low and you don’t have any SATII’s listed so that will hurt your application a bit, but your ECs are something to boast about. Good luck!</p>
